Medlar Restaurant Enter's Britain's Best Restaurant list, Located on the King’s Road, Medlar is an independently owned restaurant from Chef Joe Mercer Nairne and Front of House manager David O’Connor. The restaurant opened in April 2011 and has gained many exemplary reviews over the years and have built a fine reputation for food and service as well as gaining many loyal customers and they always striving to be one of the very best neighbourhood restaurants in London.
The restaurant is designed by Turner and Pocock with artwork from Tanya Baxter Contemporary. Medlar aim to cook seasonal ingredients from the British Isles and Europe accurately and simply. The style is French based but takes inspiration from all over. A love of food drives Joe to the kitchen, and they strives to cook food that is first and foremost satisfying to eat.
The wine list is compiled by Melania Battiston. She has taken on the role of Head sommelier/wine buyer at Medlar, and she is a young rising star with a bright future in the wine industry. Melania’s warmth and enthusiasm shines through and her aim is to guide you to enjoy the best possible wine experience as well as introducing new discoveries and sharing the joy of wine.
Menu Prices:
Lunch (Monday-Saturday): £45 for three courses, £40 for two courses, £35 for one course.
Dinner (Monday-Saturday): £70 for three courses, £60 for two courses, £45 for one course.
Sunday Lunch & Dinner: £50 for three courses, £45 for two courses, £40 for one course.
Open 7 days per week.
