Launceston Place Enters Britain's Best Restaurant List, A true hidden gem in Kensington, Launceston Place serves a flamboyant and seasonally-inspired modern European menu.
Awarded three AA Rosettes in 2019, Launceston Place also won AA’s ‘Notable Wine List’ title in 2013 – one of only seven restaurants in to receive the accolade in the UK that year as well as being awarded ‘Best Wine List’ at the Tatler Restaurant Awards.
Their award winning team includes Chef Patron Ben Murphy, who was named Chef to Watch 2016 by The Good Food Guide and took home the Breakthrough Chef of the Year gong at the Food & Travel Awards.

With a wonderfully elegant and intimate feel and welcoming banquette seating, this hidden gem, set within a former townhouse, is the ideal setting for a bespoke private dining, semi private or group experience.
Chef’s Table
Guests have exclusive access to the adrenaline of the kitchen throughout service and have direct contact with Ben Murphy, our Head Chef and his brigade who will create a bespoke menu based on the days market produce . The experience is available for up to 10 guests only.

Whether you’re celebrating with friends and family or entertaining clients, Launceston Place outstanding service and atmosphere will provide the ideal venue for you. Our main restaurant is made up of two interconnecting rooms allow smaller parties up to 20 people or up to 50 people in the whole restaurant.
